The city authority of GFCP in Turkey for Istanbul SUMP Project, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Directorate of Transportation Planning has organized number of activities for European Mobility Week on September 16-22, 2020 to improve the use of non-motorized modes and to promote a behavioral shift towards a sustainable urban mobility culture in Istanbul. Some of the planned activities include Istanbul 2020 Half Marathon, painting pedestrian roads in downtown areas, cycling training for community and virtual running.
